Felted Soap and Felted Balls (decorative or for the dryer) @ Rosehaven Yarn Shop | Prince Edward | Ontario | Canada

This class is taught by Lesley Snyder, the owner of Rosehaven Yarn Shop and an avid felter from the past decade.

Felted soap and felted dryer balls make excellent hostess gifts or are great to use yourself!

Spend an afternoon playing with colours, wool and soap and see all the things you can create!

Materials will be included and you will have your choice of colours from the wall of merino rovings in our downstairs studio space.

In the 2 1/2 hours you should be able to complete 1 bar of soap and at least 1 dryer balls in basic multi colours. What you actually finish will depend on how detailed you get with any additional designs on your soap and balls.

We will bring out the needle felting needles so you can play and learn to add images or anything else your imagination can come up with!

Materials to bring:
A big towel to help with keeping the water off the floor.
A medium sized bowl or container that can hold soapy water while you felt.
Scrap yarn that will create to core of your dryer ball. Acrylic is fine, the wool roving will felt to just about anything.
A plastic bag to take wet items home with you.
